It waited for seasons to turn around
When its leaves shed, it was barren and
brown
Through the breezy winters and sprinkles
of rain
To the days when sun frolicked in its
warmth again
With the first ray of the summer dawn
It swayed in its beautiful yellow gown
Bud to flowers not one but many
A full bloom, a joy, as sweet as honey!
