Festive Sky [55 Fiction]

Sounds boomed through the house windows.  A grand old ageless man who sat in the hall grunted, “Why burn hard earned money?” He got an answer when his grandson squeaked with joy while straining his neck to get a full view of a cracker which made its way into the sky in a random fashion.

Charming Phase [Short Poem]

It is not the mornings, it is not the night

It is in that lull when the dark aches to turn bright

Words dance on my tongue, and, your ears merrily tune

May be it’s that, that, charming phase of the moon

Explore the sail [Poem]

From one shore to another we move,
Only to meet each other midway
Each one has traveled - half the distance,
Yet a new ocean lays bare
We can either drop the anchors,
And talk about the journey so far made
Or we can tie our boats together,
Explore the sail, till the shores fade…
