Survive some more [short poem]



Beneath the smile,
Lays a wounded soul,
Scars many, a lasting pain,
One more blow, I couldn’t care
Survived so far, will survive some more!

P.S: This is my first attempt at a progressive poem- 3 words to 7 words.

    first attempt..is quite good :)
    I am not very good at writing poems..so..I don't even try much..and that's why..when I come across something which is short, sweet and says it all..I just can't help but admire it. :)

    Sameera, I think this was one of your best. I liked that you used simpler words, the progressive style is amazing and thus the ending is so much stronger :)

    Interesting, "progressive poem" is new to me! Makes a stronger impact on the reader I guess, as it builds up to the end.

    This is one of best short poems I have come across ever. I really like simple words used in poem here. Can you list here some more such like poems as those are quite easy to understand and remember.
